The 2024 Ford Mustang Convertible largely maintains the shape and styling that make it unique, but it has a much more edgier appearance overall. The car’s muscular width is highlighted by the low brow on the nose, which also draws attention to the upper grille’s original 1960s-inspired design.
Tri-bar LED headlights are used up front, while similar light clusters are present in the back. The trunk region displays characteristics of a much more contemporary automobile while still being uniquely Mustang, and the rear end feels bigger at the haunches. A simple one-handle center latch makes it simple to raise and close the roof of the 2024 Ford Mustang Convertible in a single motion. The entire bulky package rides on 17-inch wheels by default, with optional 18-, 19-, and even 20-inch wheels.
Many of the upgrades to the 2024 Ford Mustang Convertible are found inside the cabin because Ford was unable to make significant changes to the appearance without diminishing the car’s legacy. Despite not being a completely new design, the turbocharged EcoBoost engine has undergone a significant revamp to improve its performance and reduce emissions. Despite the lack of official specifications, the EcoBoost Convertible currently produces 350 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower, with a higher-output model able to produce 330 horsepower. The new power plant might provide a little bit more power.
2024 Ford Mustang Convertible Release Date And Price
Since the Ford Mustang Convertible won’t be available until 2023, you’ll still have some time to purchase the current-generation Mustang; the first vehicles will go on sale in the summer of 2024.
The 2024 Ford Mustang Convertible doesn’t yet have an official price, but the 2022 model’s MSRP starts at $32,970. By the time it reaches the USA, the new Ford Mustang Convertible should cost a little bit more.
