This model has two electric motors that operate in concert with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. At the moment, a hybrid model can produce 220 horses.
With an 11.2-kWh battery pack, this vehicle has a 37-mile all-electric range. Although hybrids are more fuel-efficient, even the entry-level Escape model is quite effective. On the interstate, it gets 33 miles per gallon, and in the city, it gets 27 miles per gallon. The standard AWD system for the Escape Hybrid should be the only improvement. All-wheel drive is not currently available in this version at all.
2024 Ford Escape Release Date And Price
The price of the next 2024 Ford Escape AWD will be close to or a little less than $30,000. The next-generation Escape should go on sale in the second half of 2024 as sales will start in the fall of 2019.
